Board of Ed Workshop Meeting

The Board of Education Public Workshop Meeting on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, will take place in-person at the Cheryl Miller-Porter Student Center at Teaneck High School and virtually via Zoom webinar, beginning at 7:00 pm.

Public Comments may be made in person or via the Zoom Webinar

Public access to all Board of Education meetings will be available only through the courtyard entrance at the back of Teaneck High School. Security personnel will be stationed at the Elevator Lobby door entrance to facilitate entry. All other entrances to the building will be closed.

Community members attending the meetings are welcome to park in the High School parking lot, accessible via the Elizabeth Avenue entrance.

SACC Programs

SACC (Before/After Childcare) Programs

School Age Child Care (SACC) provides "beyond the school day" care for our Pre-K through grade 8 students who attend a district school (Bryant/TELC, Theodora Smiley Lacey, Hawthorne, Lowell, Whittier, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson). Our goal is to provide the best possible experience for children after the school day by offering opportunities for play, rest, socialization, and continued learning in a safe and comfortable environment. The SACC program provides a reasonably priced option for working parents.

Registration for the 2025-26 school year programs will open in July. District families will be notified by email blast and robo call. Alerts will also be posted on the district website and building signs.
