Dear Current Teaneck Public School Families
The Teaneck Public School District requires all students currently in 4th and 8th grade to verify their current address before entering middle school or high school for the 2026-2027 school year.
If you have a child in one of these grades, please log in to the Family Access website using your parent/guardian credentials between April 27 and May 8 to complete the address verification process. Click on the link below.
STEP 1: Once you are on the Family Access website, please follow the screen prompts for Address Verification. If the address information in the system is accurate, then please click “Submit Address Verification for School Year 2026-2027".
STEP 2: If the student information listed in Family Access requires ANY changes, please enter the appropriate changes during the April 27 - May 8 timeframe.
STEP 3: If you made changes to your address, please enter the updated address and upload the required residency verification documents. Contact the Registrar by May 22 to verify your new address. You can email [email protected] or call 201-833-5512 for instructions on completing the address change process.
NOTE: If you do not know your Family Access account information or have forgotten your login or password, please visit the Family Access login page and click the “FORGOT YOUR LOGIN/PASSWORD” link to request a password reset email. If you do not receive an email, please contact your child's school to verify that your email address on file is correct.
ACCEPTED DOCUMENTS FOR RESIDENCY VERIFICATION
OPTION 1: IF YOU OWN A HOME
1. Please provide a copy of your current property tax bill, tax assessment card, a copy of your deed, or a recent mortgage statement.
AND
2. Most recent utility bill (i.e., PSE&G, water company, cable, telephone bill) or copy of parents’ valid NJ Driver License showing your current Teaneck address.
OPTION 2: IF YOU LEASE
1. Please provide a current copy of your lease, and it must include the name of the parent/guardian.
AND
2. Most recent utility bill (i.e., PSE&G, water company, cable, telephone bill) or copy of parents’ valid NJ Driver License showing your current Teaneck address.
OPTION 3: IF YOU RENT AND DO NOT HAVE A LEASE
1. You must have the owner/landlord of the property complete an Affidavit of Landlord form. The owner of the property must have the form signed and notarized.
AND
2. The owner must provide a copy of the current property tax bill, tax assessment card, a copy of the deed, or a recent mortgage statement.
AND
3. Copy of your (Parent/Guardian) most recent utility bill (i.e., PSE&G, water company, cable, telephone bill) or copy of the parent’s valid NJ Driver's License showing your current Teaneck address.
OPTION 4: IF IT IS A PRIVATE HOME AND YOU DO NOT PAY RENT
1. You must have the owner/landlord of the property complete an Affidavit of Landlord form. The owner of the property must have the form signed and notarized. You do not need to disclose any rent amount on the form.
AND
2. The owner must provide a copy of their current property tax bill, tax assessment, a copy of the deed, or a recent mortgage statement.
AND
3. The parent/guardian must provide a copy of a current utility bill (i.e., PSE&G, water company, cable, telephone bill) or any bill that shows the Teaneck address or a copy of the parent’s valid NJ Driver's License showing the current Teaneck address.
