Please complete the Registration Packet and submit with the required documents listed below. 

You can submit the completed registration documentation via email to [email protected] or drop it off at the Teaneck Board of Education, Registration Office, located at 651 Teaneck Road.

For more information on how to submit your registration packet, you can also email [email protected] or call (201) 833-5512. Email is preferred, however when calling and leaving a message, please speak clearly and leave a detailed message including your name, student’s name and grade, your address and phone number, and email address.
 
ONLY a parent or legal guardian may register a student into the Teaneck School District. 

When central registration is complete, you will be notified of your school zone and will finish the process with the assigned school.

Requirements for Central Registration:
  • Completed registration packet – see links to registration packets below
  • Student birth certificate
  • Immunization record
  • Proof of residency - see OPTIONS 1- 4 below

LIST OF ACCEPTABLE PROOF OF RESIDENCY

OPTION 1: IF YOU OWN A HOME
1. Please provide a copy of your current property tax bill, tax assessment card, a copy of your deed, or a recent mortgage statement.
   AND
 
2. Most recent utility bill (i.e. PSE&G, water company, cable, telephone bill).

OPTION 2: IF YOU LEASE
 
1. Please provide a current copy of your lease and it must include the name of the parent/guardian.
  AND
 
2. Most recent utility bill (i.e. PSE&G, water company, cable, telephone bill).
 
OPTION 3: IF YOU RENT AND DO NOT HAVE A LEASE
 
1. You must have the owner/landlord of the property complete an Affidavit of Landlord form. The owner of the property must sign the form signed and have it notarized.
  AND
 
2. The owner must provide a copy of the current property tax bill, tax assessment card, a copy of the deed, or a recent mortgage statement.
 AND
 
3. Copy of the parents/guardians' most recent utility bill (i.e. PSE&G, water company, cable, telephone bill).

OPTION 4: IF IT IS A PRIVATE HOME AND YOU DO NOT PAY RENT
1. You must have the owner/landlord of the property complete an Affidavit of Landlord form. The owner of the property must sign the form and have it notarized. You do not need to disclose any rent amount on the form.
  AND
 
2. The owner must provide a copy of their current property tax bill, tax assessment, a copy of the deed, or a recent mortgage statement.
 AND
 
3. The parent/guardian must provide a copy of a current utility bill (i.e. PSE&G, water company, cable, telephone bill) or any bill that shows the Teaneck address.
