2023-2024 Lunch Applications

All Teaneck children may eat lunch in school. In addition, breakfast and lunch are available at all schools. Maschio’s Food Service has been retained by the Board of Education as its food service management company for the 2023-2024 school year.

Teaneck participates in the National Lunch Program through which children may purchase low-cost lunch, breakfast, and milk, and may be eligible for free or reduced-price meals. A la carte offerings or a balanced complete meal are available at lunch and breakfast. Students that are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch qualify for free or reduced-price breakfast as well. Applications for free and reduced-price meals are now online and can be accessed by going to www.myschoolapps.com. If you are filling out a paper application, it must be properly filled out and returned to your child’s school as soon as possible. If you need a paper application, please contact your child’s school. Please put all children in the same household on ONE application only. Please make sure to correctly list the student's full name, grade, and school.

The lunch price for K-4 children will be $3.50. Middle school students will pay $3.75 for lunch. High school students will pay $4.00 for lunch. A complete breakfast for K-4 students is $2.00, and $2.25 for those in grades 5-12. Deli sandwiches are available at the high school. All the schools have salads, raisins and nuts, fresh fruits, and other nutritionally appropriate foods.

The high school and middle schools use a personalized identification system through which students scan their ID badges or use a PIN code to purchase lunch/breakfast items. This enables them to buy items whether using their pre-paid account or paying in cash.
