Schools must abide by the New Jersey IPM (Integrated Pest Management) Law when handling pest issues on school property. Its main focus is to eliminate pest problems without the need and dependency on chemicals in situations that can be fixed by structural or environmental alterations.
Listed below are links to the Annual IPM Notice for each school, which indicates the pesticides used in the past 12 months at the school property, and the Teaneck Board of Education’s IPM Policy #7422.
The IPM Log Book is located in the Main Office of each school and contains copies of the Annual IPM Notice; IPM Policy; IPM Plan; the Pest Sighting & Follow Up Log; the Pest Control Company Licenses & Service Tickets; and the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for pesticides used at the school property.
