The National Hispanic Institute visits THS - January 31, 2020

For over 40 years, the National Hispanic Institute (NHI) has conducted an international search for high achieving college-bound 9th and 10th grade students who value leadership. These students attend summer leadership programs held at top colleges and universities around the United States, Mexico and Panama.  Their mission, "Is to help add to the reservoir of talent of future community and civic leaders for Latino communities throughout the Americas."

Teaneck High School scholars have participated in NHI summer leadership programs for over ten years. In the last five summers, members of the conference leadership and training staff have included Teaneck Alumni.

On Friday, January 31, 2020 at 10am in the THS College and Center, NHI staff, along with local adult and student volunteers, will hold an information session for 9th and 10th grade students who meet the term GPA requirements (9th grade 3.0 - 10th grade 3.2).

Interested students should stop by the School Counseling office for more information.
