The beginning of the school year can be quite hectic for everyone.  To help you prepare for your child’s experience at Lacey School, here is a list of things your child will need throughout the school year. 

*A Large Book Bag

This should be large enough to accommodate your child’s artwork, library book, and the home/school communication folder!  Please label your child’s book bag with his/her full name and our classroom number (**NO ROLLERS/WHEELS**)

A Complete Set of Extra Clothes

A Ziploc bag labeled with your child’s first and last name containing a pair of socks, underwear, pants, and a shirt.  This extra set will be left at school. 

Lunch Box

If your child does not have a prepaid lunch account, please send them with a lunch box that has their name clearly labeled. There are no refrigerators or microwaves available for use, so please do not send food that requires refrigeration or microwave. **Don’t forget snacks* *NO NUTS please*

Oversized t-shirt to serve as an art smock

Two 24-pack of Crayola crayons (Crayola only, please)

1 box of #2 Ticonderoga pencils

1 bottle of Elmer’s Glue

1 pack of Elmer’s Glue Sticks (4 or 6 count)

1 package of washable Crayola markers (10 or 12 count)

Two large containers of disinfectant wipes for cleaning surfaces (Clorox or Lysol)

Large bottle of hand sanitizer with pump

Large box of tissue

Two 4-pack Play-Doh packages (4 oz. cans)

One pair of child size/kid scissor (Fiskars)

Two packs of Expo Low-Odor dry erase markers (preferably black)

One pack of headphones (no earbuds)

*Please note a teacher-specific list will be mailed with your child’s placement letter in mid-August and may contain a few additional requested supplies.*
