Dear families of Hawthorne Elementary School,

I want to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year. As your principal, it is a pleasure to work with our dedicated staff and community to help provide excellent educational experiences for all
our students. At Hawthorne, our daily goal is to provide students with educational experiences
that inspire and motivate them to become lifelong learners and caring contributors to our
community and beyond. We continuously strive to provide a nurturing environment that meets
the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of each student

Families, teachers, support staff, community members, and administration all play a part in
helping our students develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Together, we will make a
positive difference. A strong partnership between home and school helps to ensure success for
our children. We encourage parents to communicate with teachers and staff to build successful
partnerships.

I am excited for the opportunity to work with each family and child to provide and sustain a safe
and effective learning environment. I encourage you to stop in or call me to share ideas,
