BFMS Week of Respect Overview

The New Jersey Anti-Bullying Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying legislation has designated the week of October 5th-7th, 2016 as the “Week of Respect” across the state of New Jersey.

In accordance with the H.I.B. law, Benjamin Franklin Middle School will be holding grade level, classroom, and school wide activities next week.  In addition, our grade level Upstanders Clubs will be meeting with their respective Counselors.

Activities include an informative HIB slide show for each grade and activities about respect, upstanding for students who are being targeted, and learning about the dangers of stereotyping.

In addition, all members of the BFMS community, including all students and staff, are encouraged to get into the spirit of respect by participating in the Daily Spirit Theme.  See attached flyer for daily colors and/or clothing items!
