THS Students Earn Eagle Scout RankMichael Joseph D’Onofrio of Teaneck and four other members of Boy Scout Troop 106 were promoted to the rank of Eagle Scout during a ceremony at Christ Church in Hackensack, NJ on July 13th, 2019.

Michael and the other boys joined scouting in elementary school and persevered to reach to highest Boy Scout rank of Eagle.  For Michael’s Eagle Scout service project he constructed a long term storage system to stock and organize materials at Saint Anastasia Church which benefits homeless families housed by the church. Michael is entering his senior year at Teaneck High School, is an excellent student, member of National Honor Society and a triple varsity athlete involved in soccer, swimming and volleyball since freshman year. He was recently selected as a delegate for the 74th session of American Legion Jersey Boys State. He is a leader in his church’s youth group, coaches soccer to local youth and is a cadet at the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office Youth Leadership Academy.  He looks forward to attending college upon graduation.
