Dear Teaneck Families,
At the June 9th Board Meeting, our Curriculum & Instruction team presented a comprehensive plan for this year’s summer offerings -
Summer Programs.
After this difficult school year, we knew we needed to take a different approach to our summer programs. The Teaneck Public Schools Summer IMPACT Academy provides unique and targeted offerings that support the educational and social-emotional needs of our students. These include:
- Specific in-person programs (July 6 - July 30) designed for our students who would benefit most from additional in-person support before entering the next grade level. These students have been identified based upon benchmark assessments, report card grades and teacher recommendations. Parents will receive specific information from their school principals on registering your child for these courses.
- An age-appropriate “Speaker Series” with topics ranging from “It’s not Magic. It’s Science” to “discovering your inner leader (building leadership skills)”.
- Yoga, art, dance and photography classes for our middle and high school students.

Specific information regarding how to register for these summer programs will be distributed early next week. Also next week, please be sure to check the
