Dr. Irving Elected to MSA Commission
We are pleased to inform you that Dr. Irving has been elected to the Middle States Association's Commission on Secondary Schools (CSS) and will serve on the CSS Membership and Accreditation Committee. His first three year term begins at their upcoming meeting November 4-6, 2020.

Here is a copy of their newsletter:

And their press release on the Middle States' website:

FYI:  The Middle States Association has two Commissions: the Commission on Elementary Schools and the Commission on Secondary Schools. PK-12 schools are reviewed by both Commissions and the Commissions hold their meetings twice a year. In addition to school accreditation actions, Commissioners also review the budget, policies, and strategic planning. Commissioners are elected for a three year term, which is renewable for a second term. As the Commissioners are representative of the MSA membership, Dr. Irving will join Commissioners from schools across the country and around the world.

The Commissions are made up of several committees including finance, policy, and membership and accreditation. The membership and accreditation committees (one for elementary schools, one for secondary schools, and one for PK-12 schools) review all accreditation team reports as well as review and approve changes to accreditation standards and protocols.

Congratulations Dr. Irving!!
