Invention Convention

Third grade students investigated the ways in which objects and  technology have changed over time  in response to different needs, purposes and technological developments.  Students reflected on the purpose and importance of inventions.  In addition, they brainstormed ideas for an invention. They looked for a problem that needs to be solved and created their own invention/innovation using the process of investigation, design, and evaluation.  Finally, students presented their inventions at the Annual Invention Convention.
