Teaneck High School Inspires Future Healthcare Leaders with Seton Hall PA Students

On Thursday, October 10, Teaneck High School welcomed Seton Hall University’s Physician Assistant students to speak to some of our students. The PA students presented about their profession and about the Physician Assistant Education Associations (PAEA) annual initiative, Project Access. The intended goals for Project Access are to inform students about the journey of becoming a PA, promote diversity and inclusion within the PA profession, and provide students with an interactive learning opportunity to gain hands-on experience.

The students enjoyed having the opportunity to hear first hand from the PA students about the career and their journey through school. They highlighted the 3+3 PA programs offered at many colleges in which students apply to their senior year. Teaneck currently has a graduate from 2024 in her first year of the Seton Hall 3+3 PA program as a result of this same presentation last year! It definitely sparked an interest in healthcare careers among many of our students and was a huge success. We look forward to having them back next year!
