CAMP K UPDATE

Due to the current situation concerning the COVID 19 virus, Camp K has been canceled for Summer 2020.   We look forward to bringing the program back in Summer 2021.   Updates will be available throughout the year.  To be placed on our mailing list, email [email protected]

Camp Kookooskoos is a six-week program for children entering grades K-8. Campers enjoy sports, arts & crafts, science, music, swimming, special events, trips and more!  Our goal is to provide a summer experience that offers enrichment, personal growth and fun in a safe, nurturing environment.  Camp is run by a caring and enthusiastic professional staff of teachers, college students, and high school seniors. A full-time registered school nurse is on the grounds.  We include an extended hour’s program (both before and after) for working families (extended care is an additional fee).

Camp K (K-4th grade)
Our youngest campers are grouped according to age and sex and assigned their own “bunk” and group counselors (2 per group).  Each group’s day is broken up into “periods” where they explore our different specials with their counselors and our “specialty” instructors.  Specials include computers, art, music, drama, cooking, sports and swimming.  Most groups will get to swim every day (weather permitting) and swim instruction is also included.   K-4 campers will go on one trip per session (included in the fee). Trips may include Bowcraft Amusement Park, Turtleback Zoo, Keansburg Amusement Park, the movies and bowling.  Lunch and snacks are provided and included in the fee. Kosher option is available for an additional fee. See attached flyer for more detail including fees.

Explorers (5th – 8th grade)
This group will travel 3 or 4 days per week.   Typical trips include Great Adventure, Hurricane Harbor, Action Park, Keansburg Amusement Park, The Castle Fun Center, Urban Air and the movies.  Days on campus for this group include participation in all specials.  Camp “special events” are scheduled on days when Explorers remain on campus.  All trips are included in the fee.  All snacks are provided and lunch is included on some days. Explorers will bring money or a brown bag lunch on trip days.  Kosher option is available for on campus days for an additional fee.
See attached flyer for more detail including fees.
