Faculty Advisory Committee (SSAC) Expectations
Thank you for your interest in serving on the Faculty Advisory Committee (SFAC). SFAC will be comprised of eight (8) Teaneck faculty members whose mission will be to engage in dialogue with District faculty in order to monitor the “pulse” of what is important to Teaneck educators and how we can best serve our students, as well as the Teaneck Public Schools community. The Committee will act as a link between Teaneck faculty and the Superintendent of Schools.
Once selected, committee members will be expected to meet quarterly between November and May. Meetings will be conducted during the school day with coverage provided. The SFAC focus will be on issues that affect the faculty as a whole and personal information will be kept confidential. The SFAC chairperson will report directly to the District Superintendent.
