Jefferson Middle School Families,
It is my
honor and privilege to welcome you to the 2019-2020 academic year. I hope you
had a wonderful summer break and your child is ready to start a new school
year. As part of our amazing learning community, our faculty and staff welcome
you back and value your dedication to excellence in education.
proverb – “It takes a village to raise a child” – conveys what it means to work
together to serve our students. Our skilled and devoted faculty are already
planning and preparing for our students. Throughout the summer, our office team
has been registering new families and ordering resources for our classrooms.
Our hard working custodial staff members have been cleaning the facility. Our
PTA is gearing up to welcome families, provide volunteer opportunities and
offer exciting events for our students. As a collaborative learning community,
we highly encourage you to be involved in sustaining the academic and emotional
growth of our young scholars.
As we begin
this school year, I would also like to welcome our newest Patriots – our incoming
fifth graders. I encourage you to take advantage of all that TJMS has to offer,
allow yourselves to grow, make new friends, learn all you can about our rapidly
changing world and utilize all the opportunities afforded to you each day.
