I” Team Updates
One of our newest initiatives
this school year is the implementation of the“I” Team. Our “I” Team consists of
students in grades 6-8 who have been selected to promote principles of
character education amongst their peers. These students work together to come
up with creative ways to highlight Benjamin Franklin’s monthly values.
= Bulletin board – demonstrate ways to be more responsible.
October’s value word is responsibility (taking accountability). Our “I” Team is busy interviewing students about what it means to be responsible and why it is important.
Our “I” Team members also contribute to the following:
= Morning announcements - teach the importance of responsibility and challenge us all to be more responsible in all that we do.
