Teaneck Public Schools is proud to announce that we are co-sponsoring a film at the 2017 Teaneck International Film Festival! The film, Swim Team, will be shown at 2:00 p.m. at Benjamin Franklin Middle School, on Saturday, November 4, 2017. This documentary tells the story of the parents of a boy on the autism spectrum who form a competitive swim team, recruiting diverse teens on the spectrum and training them with high expectations and zero pity. Swim Team captures a moving quest for inclusion, independence and a life that feels winning. Please consider attending with your family. Students attend free! The BFMS and TJMS band will perform before the film is shown. Tickets are on sale now at www.teaneckfilmfestival.org and at Teaneck Cinemas, Tuesdays, Thursdays-1-3 and 6-8 p.m. and Sundays, 1-3 p.m.
