Food Services
There is no more grab-and-go option available. Since all students are back in person all meals are served in school.  Please click below on the link from Maschio's Food Service to view the menu by the school building.

Here are some of the things Machio's has been doing in the cafeterias across the district this year. They used feedback from the students' food advisory committee meetings held at each school to tailor the menus

All Teaneck children may eat breakfast and lunch in school. In addition, breakfast and lunch are available at all schools. Maschio’s Food Service, Inc. has been retained by the Board of Education as its food service management company for the 2023-2024 school year.

Did you know your child’s school lunch is age-appropriate by design and includes a wide variety of healthy options like low-fat milk, fresh fruits and vegetables, and whole grains? We take great pride in being able to offer your children healthy food choices so that they can fuel their bodies to get them through the school day and beyond! Parents MUST fill out an application to find out if they are eligible for the free or reduced meals for the 2023-2024 school year. Applications may be obtained and submitted at any of the school buildings or can be completed online at  https://www.teaneckschools.org/OnlineLunchApplication.aspx

Money may still be placed in student accounts for a la carte, milk, extra entrée items since these items can only be purchased with funds in the student account. This is the preferred method to minimize the handling of cash. Register for an online payment account www.myschoolbucks.com

The high school and middle schools use a personalized identification system through which students scan their ID badges or use a PIN code to purchase lunch/breakfast items. This enables them to buy items whether using their pre-paid account or paying in cash.
