BF Achievers is an all male 7th and 8th grade mentorship group that meets with school counselor, Mr. Mike Smith, between 1 – 3 times a month. This after school activity will provide a safe space for club members to engage in experiences meant to cultivate and empower them as young men. Topics, such as (but not limited to) leadership, self-image, healthy relationships, peer pressure, overcoming obstacles, and goal setting will be discussed on a regular basis. All participants will have the opportunity to take part in multiple team building exercises that develop essential critical thinking and social skills. “BF Believers Are Achievers” is the driving theme of the group’s pursuit of personal growth, brotherly love, and academic achievement.
